You get to design a customized collar, built for your K9.  Of course, we can make a solid black collar for your partner, or you can design a collar with an added stripe for color, and their badge, and embroidered lettering.

All of our collars are heavy-duty, custom handmade in the U.S.A. (in Ohio), and built to last:
Most K9s have had their BLOCKY DOGS collar for their entire career.

We can outfit individual K9s, or your entire K9 team!

You design it!  Choose a style and a width, then scroll to the lower half of the page to select.  Once you’re in the selection, you get to customize further by choosing a base color, then add any or all of the following options:

  • CenterStripe – 3 width choices for stripes
  • Embroidery
  • Badge – most of our badge styles are featured below.  If you don’t see your shape, contact us to see what we can design for you.

  • Regular Flat Collar – 1.5″ and 2″ widths
  • Regular Flat Collar with Handle – 1.5″ and 2″ widths – COMING SOON
  • D-Above-Buckle/Agitation Style Flat Collar 1.5”, 2”
  • BLOCKY DUAL Grip™ (martingale style collar) – 1.5″ and 2″ widths
  • BABY BLOCKY Flat collar – 1″ width for pups in training

CenterStripe Features

  • Three CenterStripe widths available: 1”, 1.5”, or 2”.
    • The 1” width on the 2″ collars, still shows ½” of the main/base collar on each side of the stripe.  On the 1.5″ width collar it will show 1/4″ of the main collar color on each side of the stripe.  On the Baby Blocky, it will cover the entire main collar color.
    • The 1.5” width is a little wider, on the 2″ collars, still shows 1/4” of the main/base collar on each side of the stripe.  On the 1.5″ width collar it will cover the entire main collar color.  Not available on the Baby Blocky collars.
    • The 2” stripe (only available on 2″ wide collars) covers the surface of the collar. You will still see the edges and ends of the main collar, but the surface of the collar will be the stripe color you choose. i.e. If you want a color or pattern we don’t have as a main collar, say Neon Pink or Camo, choose a color for the main collar and then choose a 2” wide CenterStripe.
  • 24 solid color choices, 18 pattern choices. If you have a pattern in mind and don’t see it, ASK, we might be able to get it!
  • If you’ll be adding embroidery, such as a name or phone number or design, it can be placed ON the stripe, on the main collar (aka Break-in-Stripe Design), or both. For 1″ BABY BLOCKY Flat Collars, only the Break-in-Stripe option is available. For 1″ CenterStripe, only the Break-in-Stripe option is available for embroidery.   • SIZING: To get the correct size, measure your dog’s neck, not the collar your dog is currently wearing. While your dog is sitting or standing, using a soft tape measure (or use a string or shoestring, then measure the string), measure around your dog’s neck in the middle. NO fingers under the tape. Snug but not choking tight. Then add 4” to the measurement.

BADGES
A badge/shield can be added to any collar. Badges are sewn on patch material then affixed to the collar during construction–They won’t come off. We will match your badge as closely as possible. Due to the reduced size, fine details will be removed. We’re happy to make a rough sketch for you.

Our embroiderer has most badge shapes in stock designs (see badges below). If the embroiderer has to create a badge style that is not a stock design there is an additional one-time design fee for creating the badge.

At the bottom of this page are most of the badge/shield styles we’ve done. If you don’t see your badge shape, just email and ask (sending a photo is always helpful) and we will let you know what we can do.

Prices for badges start at $10. If we don’t have your badge shape/style, a one-time design fee to create a new badge style starts at $45.

To add a badge to your order, just use the Special Instructions Message Box on the order form. If there is a collar from this page or from the BLOCKY DOGS K9 COLLARS album on the BD page on Facebook that you are referencing, note the city, state, or the dog’s name on the collar, then detail the wording to be in each rocker panel of your badge, and thread color preference. OR, attach a photo to your order form or email a photo to us. (Main colors for badges are usually Golden Yellow or Silver-Gray).

 

BLOCKY DOGS® will only put badges/shields and the phrasing of K9, K-9, and similar on collars for dogs affiliated with law enforcement, Fire & Rescue, SAR, and Service Dogs (not therapy dogs). Type the name of your department or agency in the Memo box on your order form.

Pictured below are photos of most of the badges we’ve previously done. Any of the designs below can have colors altered and lettering for your department placed in the rocker panels. If you see your badge shape below, just note the badge’s city on your order form in the Special Instructions box, i.e. badge shape like Oak Island. And then list color preference and lettering for top rocker, center circle, bottom rocker, etc. If you’re not sure we have your badge, click Contact Us to send a photo of your badge and we’ll let you know if we have it or what we can do to make it.
