In addition to the Flat collar features, the BLOCKY DUAL Grip™ Collar is a multi-functional martingale style collar.  If your dog typically tries to back out of standard flat collars, the BLOCKY DUAL Grip™ collar has a center loop that tightens by pulling up both sides of the collar to grip your dog with even pressure making the collar unable to slip over your dog’s head.

  • Second D-ring, near buckle, allows collar to be used as a Flat collar without the cinching action.

COLLAR MATERIAL:

  • COLORS: Black, Chocolate-Brown, Red, Lawn Green, Royal Blue, Bully Pink, Lilac
  • 1.5” wide heavy Nylon. Double layer makes collar 1/4” thick.

COLLAR HARDWARE:

  • Welded Stainless Steel roller buckle for easy on/easy off.
  • Welded Stainless Steel D-rings are extra heavy gauge and made in the USA.
  • Collar is riveted together around hardware. Rivets are capped on backside so they are smooth against the fur.

COLLAR CONSTRUCTION:

  • Double lines of stitching to reinforce edges and discourage fraying along edges.
  • Single row of industrial grommets in the buckle holes prevent buckle holes stretching.
  • Grommets are heat sealed into the material–They will not come out.

COLLAR FEATURES:

  • Tiny D-ring placed near buckle holes is specifically for I.D. tags/rabies tags/county license tags/hanging trackers, etc.  Placement is designed so tags hang to one side of dog’s neck during general wear, instead of under the chin.
  • Collars are machine washable.
  • Every collar is custom handmade in Ohio, USA. For full-grown dogs, we can even make sizes on the ¼” and ½”.
  • Embroidery of a name, phone number, and/or small designs can be added to any collar. Check out the EMBROIDERY page for more details and photos.
  • SIZING: To get the correct size, measure your dog’s neck, not the collar your dog is currently wearing. While your dog is sitting or standing, using a soft tape measure (or use a string or shoestring, then measure the string), measure around your dog’s neck in the middle. NO fingers under the tape. Snug but not choking tight. Then add 4” to the measurement.  Neck measurement + 4” = Size to Order.  Refer to Sizing/Measuring photos above for correct way to measure.

Features

  • All of the features of the 1.5” BLOCKY DUAL GRIP Collar listed above.
  • Two CenterStripe widths available: 1” or 1.5”.
    • The 1” width still shows the main/base collar on each side of the stripe.
    • The 1.5” stripe covers the surface of the collar. You will still see the edges and ends of the main collar, but the surface of the collar will be the stripe color you choose. i.e. If you want a color or pattern we don’t have as a main collar, say Neon Pink or Camo, choose a color for the main collar and then choose a 1.5” wide CenterStripe.
  • 24 solid color choices
  • 18 pattern choices. If you have a pattern in mind and don’t see it, ASK, we might be able to get it!
  • Stripe can be the same color and width on all three sections of collar or they can be different. You can also mix solids with patterned stripes.
  • If you’ll be adding embroidery, such as a name or phone number or design, it can be placed ON the stripe, on the main collar (aka Break-in-Stripe Design), or both. Check out the EMBROIDERY page for more details and photos.
